Demo description:
Topic: Overview of Bicep – Next generation ARM templates.
Bicep is a Domain Specific Language (DSL) for deploying Azure resources declaratively. It aims to drastically simplify the authoring experience with a cleaner syntax, vastly improved type safety and intellisense, and better support for modularity and code re-use. We’ll go over Bicep in as much detail (and as much demo) as possible.
Class leader:
Alex Frankel (Microsoft) – Alex is a Program Manager on the Azure Deployments team. He is a maintainer of the bicep project and works on a variety of deployment related features like what-if, deployment scripts, template specs, and blueprints.
