We would like to invite you to participate in the series of Azure DevOps Workshops. It is a cycle dedicated to people who want to train in solutions based on Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps for Developers, and Administrators, aka Ops.

A limited number of participants (25 seats), workshops are conducted live on the Microsoft Teams platform. Therefore own equipment is required (PC / Notebook, headphones, microphone, camera)

Description of laboratory

Azure DevOps 101. During this workshop, I will walk you through the basics of Azure Repos, Boards, Pipelines & Artifacts. After attending this workshop, you should know how to create a new project from scratch and configure a few basic build & release scenarios.

1. Create & Configure new Azure DevOps Project
2. Create & Configure Project Team and Groups
3. Create & Configure GIT Repository (policies, security, merge types)
4. Setup Build Pipelines (YAML-based):

• .NET Core App Build with Unit Tests validation
• Entity Framework database migrations with validation using Docker-based MS SQL
• NuGet packages hosted in Azure Artifacts

1. Create & Configure Release Pipeline (IaC, Code deployment)
2. Variable Groups configuration (standard/Key Vault-based)
3. Tracking deployment status in Work Items
